View all productsPhoenix NX is a shower range covering shower systems in both rail and fixed mounting styles, designed to give bathrooms a clean, contemporary shower setup without needing to source components from separate ranges.
What's in the NX range
NX spans the core components of a shower system, the head, the mounting hardware and the mixer, sold either as complete sets or as compatible individual components. The range covers both wall-mounted rail systems and fixed-head configurations, so it can suit a standard shower recess, a walk-in shower, or an over-bath shower depending on the bathroom's layout.
Rail versus fixed mounting
A rail shower mounts the head on a vertical sliding bar, letting the height be adjusted to suit different users in the household, a practical option for family bathrooms. A fixed shower head or arm is mounted at a set position, either on the wall or the ceiling, and gives a more streamlined, architectural appearance where height adjustment isn't needed. NX covers both, so the decision comes down to who's using the bathroom and how the space is laid out, rather than being locked into one style across the whole range.
Wall-mounted fixed arms suit standard-height showers and simpler rough-in plumbing, while ceiling-mounted options are more common in renovations targeting an overhead, rainfall-style shower.
Finishes
NX is available across Phoenix's standard shower finish range. Because finish availability can differ between individual components within a system, check each product listing to confirm the head, arm and mixer you're specifying are available in the same finish before finalising an order.
Matching NX to your bathroom
Where NX is being installed alongside existing tapware, matching the shower finish to the basin and bath mixers already in the room keeps the bathroom's hardware looking coordinated rather than mismatched. In a full renovation, it's more straightforward, since the whole bathroom's tapware and shower system can be specified from NX or a matching Phoenix range together.
Water efficiency
All shower systems sold in Australia carry a WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme) star rating, indicating flow rate at standard water pressure. This is particularly relevant for larger shower heads and rainfall-style outlets, which can use significantly more water per minute than a standard head if the rating isn't checked. Review the WELS rating on each NX product page against your renovation's water efficiency and compliance requirements.
Planning your installation
Shower systems need to be specified before rough-in plumbing is finalised, since rail height, arm position and any ceiling mounting all affect where pipework sits behind the wall or ceiling. If you're renovating, confirm your NX configuration with your plumber before waterproofing and tiling begin, changing the mounting style afterward means reopening finished surfaces.
