Lockwood deadbolts buying guide
Lockwood is one of the longest-established names in the Australian locking industry, backed by a wide distribution and after-sales network, and this collection covers its deadbolt range in round and square profiles across matte black, satin stainless steel and brushed satin chrome.
Single cylinder vs double cylinder
A single cylinder deadbolt operates with a key from outside and a turning knob from inside, the standard setup for most external doors. A double cylinder version needs a key on both sides, generally specified where a nearby glass panel would otherwise let someone reach through and turn an inside knob.
Round vs square profile
The round profile gives a slightly less prominent, more traditional look on the door face, while the square profile reads a little more contemporary. For deadbolts from another long-established Australian brand, see Lane deadbolts, or browse Lockwood's full range and door hardware more broadly.
